Business is your space to work as a professional on Kadens. You pick a role on the choose your path page: artist selling courses, dance school, promoter, or event organizer. The reviewer role is the exception, you do not choose it and it is free, you enter the Business space when a form owner invites you to review and you accept. Business is a mode you switch on with the Personal and Business toggle, not a plan.

Yes. You can create an account and explore courses, events, and communities for free. You only pay when you subscribe to a creator or upgrade your own plan to sell.

Do I have to choose between learning and teaching?

No. One account has two sides: Personal for learning and Business for creating. You switch between them with the toggle, and you only pick a creator role when you are ready.

Use Change plan on your billing page to move between plans in the same group. Upgrading to a higher tier or longer cycle takes effect right away with a prorated charge. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current period, and you keep your current tier until then.

Can I get invoices or receipts for my payments?

Yes. Your billing page lists each subscription's invoices with date, amount, and status, and every paid invoice has a downloadable PDF from Stripe.

Your subscription becomes past due and access pauses until payment succeeds. Stripe retries the charge automatically, and a banner points you to your billing page to update your card. Once a retry works, access comes back.

Accept the invitation. A Reviews section appears in your Business space where you evaluate the applications you were assigned. Reviewing is free and does not need any plan.

Yes. Each price on your plan has a trial length in days. Students get those days free before the first charge, and billing starts when the trial ends. Set it to zero for no trial.

You are blocked from adding more until you free up space or upgrade. Reaching the lesson cap stops new lessons, and an upload that would pass your storage limit is rejected. Free allows up to 25 lessons and 200 GB.

Yes. Video feedback is a paid add-on: a student buys a slot on a lesson and uploads a video, and you reply within a deadline with a rating, notes, and an optional response video. You can sell it one time, as a recurring add-on, or as a credit pack.

Yes. In Settings, then Team, invite people by email as Admin or Member. They accept and can help manage your account. You can change a role, remove a member, or revoke a pending invite anytime.

Automatic tax is available today only for creators whose Stripe account is in the EU, through Stripe's EU OSS scheme. Creators elsewhere, including the US, handle their own taxes.

Content nests up to four levels: Path, Course, Module, Lesson. Lessons are what students watch or do, and can be video, document, exam, or text. You do not have to use every level. A Course can hold Lessons directly or group them into Modules, and a Path can bundle several Courses. Use only the levels you need.

What is a cohort?

A cohort is a scheduled run of a course where a group of students starts and finishes together, with set start and end dates and an optional capacity. It contrasts with evergreen access, which you can join anytime and take at your own pace. A course can offer cohorts, evergreen access, or both.

Through one of four ways, checked at the moment of access: a paid subscription, a reward, a free-preview enrollment, or a direct grant. As the owner you always have access. If a course has prerequisites, students must also meet them before access opens, even with a subscription.

Yes. Lessons can unlock a set number of days after a student enrolls or after a start date.

Why isn't my new course purchasable yet?

Two things are needed. First, the course must be published, not left as a draft. Second, it needs a published plan that grants access to it. Until both are true, there is nothing for a student to buy.

Yes. An exam is a form attached to a lesson, graded automatically, by you, or both. Exams can allow multiple attempts up to a limit, often with a wait between tries.

Yes. If the course has an active certificate, one is issued automatically when a student completes it, with a PDF and a public verification link. Certificates can be set to expire after a number of days. Certificates are also issued automatically to attendees when an event edition is completed.

How can someone verify a certificate?

Anyone can open the public verification page with the certificate number, no login needed. It shows whether the certificate is active, expired, or revoked. Private certificates still confirm authenticity but hide personal details.
